Helen and I will be demonstrating in Gretton, Village Hall on Saturday 12th November - I usually take along this dressed distaff, which children think is a broomstick! This is Gretton Silver Band's 'crafty' fund raising event. Entry is free and there are home made cakes and refreshments on sale. Last year visitors had the opportunity to 'Have a Blow' on some of the instruments - it was hilarious. Later on they struck up a jazz session complete with string bass - absolute bliss and it was all free! What a way to spend a Saturday. Gretton is 4 miles from Uppingham and 12 miles from Kettering, Oakham, Market Harborough and Stamford.
