Happy New Year! I made this hat following my machine-knitting lesson with Kate on Friday. The body of the hat is done on the machine - all by myself after only one lesson! And I have had great fun adding the embellishments by hand- it's a pity the rose doesn't show up very well - it actually stands out quite a bit. It was lovely not having to spend hours doing the boring old stocking stitch - it was all over in about half an hour. I like results in a timescale to suit my busy life.
Aha! So this is the hat you were on about! Very nice, love the frilly rose. look forward to more items now you have got the hang of it.
