Spellbound

This yum, scrummy dyed alpaca was created using only three primary colour dyes. The dyes were mixed in small pots and then applied to the fibre with syringes. To get the colours to blend the fibre was presoaked in water to which a little malt vinegar was added. People usually say use white vinegar but malt is cheap, readily available and seems to work just as well for me. The picture looks a bit Harry Potter-y' School of colourcraft and wizardry.
