Just off the loom

 This rug by Jane is her first weaving; it shows a few of the many variations on a theme that can be achieved with twill weave. She cleverly chose only two colours from the many that were available, thus creating a design that is complex, but 'easy on the eye'. It is a very skilled piece of work for a beginner to attempt and will give her a lifetime's pleasure.
