Kid cashmere! Long draw! Beat that!

 This is Helen long draw spinning kid cashmere at  my How to Spin Luxury Fibre workshop last Tuesday. Kid cashmere is more like down than fibre, the staple is less than 2 cms and it looks like fluff. Six spinners managed to spin  de-haired yak (also looks impossible to spin like kid cashmere), silk from hankies and rovings, alpaca, soya fibre, and milk fibre all with no previous experience! What an achievement!  I doubt you would find six spinners throughout the country that could do all this, let alone find all six in one room!
