Pupils of Elizabeth Palmer 198?

Sarah and Ros, pictured here were among three spinners who were taught along with me by my highly respected tutor Elizabeth Palmer. Along with Judith we had a happy time remembering our learning curve in the 1980s when we met at Spinning by the River. Without Elizabeth and Malcolm's studio in Gretton there would be no SpinningSchool, no Guild of Long Draw Spinners, no Studio in the Barn, no Laughing Ewe and no Weaving Room at Loddington Grange....today.  Elizabeth pursued excellence in spinning and her tuition reflected this. Without such professional tuition I would never have had the confidence to do what I do now.
