Spinning by the River was blessed with a hot day

And there is no more peaceful place to sit and spin than under the shade of the Mill overlooking the mill pond. I wonder how many others have sat in this very spot with their spinning wheels in the past? There has probably been a mill on this site for 800 years. The Mill where we housed the exhibition was lovely and cool inside - but I wouldn't want to have had to live there in the winter. I believe it  was inhabited until the 1930s.
