Nola and Simba

This is Nola (right) and her stable mate Simba, being ridden by my friend and her daughter. Nola is 20 years old and 16h Irish Draught, I've had her since she was 8; she had had four foals when she came to me and only been ridden for 3 weeks. She was far too big but had a lovely temperament and I felt she was the right horse for me.  My friend has been riding her for 11 years. I ride her two or three times a week too - I mount, and dismount, from a 3ft wall in the stable yard nowadays.
