Sleeping Beauty Sat 17th Nov 9-5pm

title-photo-2Our display opens tomorrow at   St Mary's Parish Church Higham Ferrers  and again on  Saturday 24th November from 9-12noon, in the church Fairy Tale exhibition which coincides with the town fair. You can also see the displays on a Sunday as visitors are welcome to attend the Sunday services (please see the link above).  Bob and I will be there on Sunday (18th)for the Sung Mass at 10.15am if anyone would like to join us as a visitor. We both love English Choral music - so it will be twofold treat.
Sleeping Beauty was inspired by longdraw spinner Susan Clarke who has put together a lovely display of work by Helen, Audrey and Kate (a magical 30' trailing knitted stem with flowers and leaves), Heather (a lovely hand-knitted 'princess' with flaxen hair),  Lizzy (a regal fairy tale bed with jeweled cover), Ros (a glorious 6' SpinningSchool banner), together with innovative and colourful scarves, shawls and skeins by Erica, Ann and myself.
I will post pictures asap.
