To DYE for last Tuesday

Dyeing day on Tuesday was great fun - this is some of Kate's microwave dyeing   - more pics will follow shortly from Vicky as I forgot my camera - fortunately I remembered everything we needed for the dyeing which included feathers, angora, alpaca and my favourite merino/bamboo mix from Uppingham Yarns. Being cellulose the bamboo doesn't take the dye in the same way as the wool/protein  and gives a lovely variation on a theme.
