First Spinning

Ingrid said: 'Well it looks a lot better than I thought it would!' as she examined her first spinning last week. She has her own Shetland sheep and wants to spin her own fleece. I like to start spinners off on  commercially prepared rovings or merino tops as it is clean and easy. I find most new spinners just want to get going with a wheel - not spend time washing and preparing fleece - they learn that later.
