How to spin silk, alpaca and fine fibres on Tuesday 17 September

Tomorrow at Spinningschool is all about spinning fine fibres. This Alpaca hanging out to dry is from staple 10-12 inches long - I spun it long draw because I wanted it to be lofty for extra warmth. On Tuesday we will also learn how to spin it worsted and off-the-bend for a very fine yarn.
