My Aunt's Shetland hap...

These rolags are for the shawl - the fleece is merino tops and was space dyed at a recent SpinningSchool dyeing class. The rolags will be spun long draw and then plyed with mohair. At this stage I have no idea whether the coloured yarn will be sufficient to complete an Old Shale pattern all the way round the  shawl.  I hope she likes the colours, they are dyed using Landscape dyes which give a subtle, more natural looking colour, than acid dyes I have used in the past.
